Detailed itinerary

Schedule

Individual arrival in Gdańsk. Check-in in the 3* start hotel in the Old Town. Evening at leisure. Overnight in a 3* start hotel in Gdańsk.

After breakfast, an optional city tour into the past of the old Hanseatic city of Gdansk is offered. This is followed by a short bus transfer to the mouth of the Vistula. In the early afternoon, our bike tour takes us along one of the most beautiful bike paths along the Polish coast, on the Vistula Lagoon Spit. On one side, beautiful forests and tranquility, on the other, miles of magnificent views of the Baltic Sea.

In the afternoon, we’ll take a boat across the Vistula Lagoon to Tolkmicko. From the boat, you’ll continue your bike ride to the picturesque village of Kadyny, the former summer residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Frombork or a 3* hotel in Kadyny.

Optional: After breakfast, visit Frombork, where the famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus lived and worked. Afterwards, a short bus transfer to Elbląg. Today’s bike tour takes you through the landscape of the Upland Elbląg Canal. The bike tour follows beautiful routes with views of the canal.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on the Upland Canal – a great opportunity to experience the world’s only functioning ramp system that takes ships up or down the river (depending on the direction of travel). You “travel” on land with the boat.

Afterwards, a bus transfer from Buczyniec to Lidzbark Warmiński. Dinner and overnight stay in a typical local hotel in Lidzbark Warmiński.

After breakfast, an optional visit to the mighty castle of the Warmian bishops in Lidzbark Warmiński is available. Today’s route leads through the picturesque landscape of Warmia between the Vistula Lagoon and Masuria. Along the way, you can visit the Marian Sanctuary in Stoczek Klasztorny.

In the afternoon, you’ll continue your bike ride to Gallingen Palace, where you can take an optional coffee and cake break. Optional: Visit the restored palace and horse stud farm before continuing your bike ride towards Bartoszyce.

Check-in at a 3* hotel in Bartoszyce or the surrounding area. Dinner with local specialties, followed by an optional bonfire. Overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Bartoszyce or the surrounding area.

Today’s tour takes you to Masuria, the Land of a Thousand Lakes. After breakfast, a short bus transfer to Sępopol. Here, you’ll hop on your bike and cycle to Drogosze – formerly the largest residence in East Prussia. The castle was owned by the Dönhoff family until 1816. You’ll tour the exterior of the park and the empty castle.

In the afternoon, an optional meeting with a beekeeper in the Srokowo area is available. You continue your cycling tour towards Węgorzewo. Along the way, you can visit the locks on the Masurian Canal. From there, a bus transfer will take you to your hotel in Giżycko or the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Giżycko or the surrounding area.

Today’s bike tour takes you through the most beautiful corners of Masuria. You’ll embark on a relaxing bike ride through the beautiful lake landscape, cycling first along Lake Niegocin, then enjoying the magnificent views of Lake Buwelno.

After a leisurely lunch break, you’ll continue to Poland’s largest lake, Lake Śniardwy. You’ll end today’s bike tour in Mikołajki. From here, you’ll travel by bus to your hotel in Mrągowo / surroundings for two nights. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Mrągowo / surroundings.

This day was supposed to be called “Back to the Past.” Masuria still has remote areas that take us back to the 19th century. You’ll bike through a quiet and secluded area and experience unparalleled nature. Along the way, you can take a break in Sorkwity with its Protestant congregation and visit the small 17th century church. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time in Mrągowo. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Mrągowo and the surrounding area.

In the morning, you’ll cycle from Mrągowo and the surrounding area to Swieta Lipka, home to a beautiful Baroque church. Optional guided tours and an organ concert are available.

In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred by bus to Warsaw. Check-in at your 3* hotel. Optional dinner at a restaurant in Warsaw. The evening is at leisure.

After breakfast departure home or individual additional stay in Warsaw.
