Detailed itinerary

Schedule

Individual arrival in Gdańsk. Check-in in the 3* start hotel in the Old Town. Evening at leisure. Overnight in a 3* start hotel in Gdańsk.

After breakfast, our city guide will take us back to the past of the old Hanseatic city of Gdańsk. Afterwards, a short bus transfer to the mouth of the Vistula River. In the afternoon, our bike tour takes us along one of the most beautiful bike paths along the Polish coast, on the Vistula Lagoon Spit. On one side, beautiful forests and tranquility, on the other, miles of magnificent views of the Baltic Sea.

After a leisurely picnic on the beach, we’ll take a boat across the Vistula Lagoon to Tolkmicko. We’ll continue our bike ride to the picturesque village of Kadyny, the former summer residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Frombork or a 3* hotel in Kadyny.

After breakfast, we’ll visit Frombork, where the famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus lived and worked. Afterwards, a short bus transfer to Elbląg. Today’s bike tour takes us through the landscape of the Elbląg Canal. We’ll cycle along beautiful routes with views of the canal.

In the afternoon, we’ll take a boat trip on the Upland Elbląg Canal – a great opportunity to experience the world’s only functioning ramp system, which takes ships up or down the river (depending on the direction of travel). We’ll “travel” on land by boat. Afterwards, a bus transfer from Buczyniec to Lidzbark Warmiński. Dinner and overnight stay at a typical local hotel in Lidzbark Warmiński.

After breakfast, we’ll visit the mighty castle of the Warmian bishops in Lidzbark Warmiński. Today’s route leads through the picturesque landscape of Warmia between the Vistula Lagoon and Masuria. Along the way, we’ll visit the Marian Sanctuary in Stoczek Klasztorny.

In the afternoon, we cycle to Gallingen Palace, where we take an optional coffee and cake break. Visit the restored palace and horse stud farm before continuing our bike tour toward Bartoszyce. Check in at a 3* hotel in Bartoszyce and the surrounding area. After an excellent dinner featuring local specialties, we end the evening around a campfire. Overnight at a 3* hotel in Bartoszyce or the surrounding area.

Today route takes us to Masuria, the Land of a Thousand Lakes. After breakfast, a short bus transfer to Sępopol. Here, we hop on our bikes and cycle to Drogosze – formerly the largest residence in East Prussia. The castle was owned by the Dönhoff family until 1816. We’ll tour the exterior of the park and the empty castle.

In the afternoon, we meet with a beekeeper in the Srokowo area. We continue our bike tour towards Węgorzewo. Along the way, we visit the locks on the Masurian Canal. From there, we transfer by bus to our hotel in Giżycko or the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Giżycko or the surrounding area.

Today’s bike tour takes us through the most beautiful corners of Masuria. We take a relaxing bike ride through the beautiful lake landscape, first cycling along Lake Niegocin, then enjoying the beautiful views at Lake Buwelno.

After a leisurely lunch break, we head to Lake Śniardwy, Poland’s largest lake. We end today’s cycling tour in Mikołajki. From here, we go by bus to our hotel in Mrągowo or surrounding area for two nights. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Mrągowo or surrounding area.

This day was supposed to be called “Back to the Past.” There are still remote areas in Masuria that take us back to the 19th century. We bike through a quiet and secluded area and experience unparalleled nature. Along the way, we stop in Sorkwity with the Protestant congregation and visit the small 17th-century church. In the afternoon, we have free time in Mrągowo. Dinner and overnight stay at a 3* hotel in Sensburg or surroundings.

In the morning, you’ll cycle from Mrągowo to Swieta Lipka (Holy Linden), home to a beautiful Baroque church. Guided tours and an organ concert are scheduled. In the afternoon, a bus transfer to Warsaw takes you to your 3* hotel. Check-in at your hotel in Warsaw.

Farewell dinner together at a restaurant in Warsaw. Last night in a 3* hotel in Warsaw.

After breakfast departure home or individual additional stay in Warsaw.
